We’re Back! (Nov 6)

Join us for the Grand Opening of Aldersgate’s Worship Center Sunday, November 6th. Get an extra hour of sleep from the end of Daylight Saving’s Time and then join us at 9:00, 10:15 or 11:30am.

Which worship experience will you attend?

Worship Experiences
The subject matter will be consistent in all three services. The message and the primary communicator will be the same and the “take home message” will not vary. There will be some differences in each of the services designed to help you find the way in which you best connect with God. Here’s a brief description of what each hour will look like:

9:00 Hour
The 9:00 service will incorporate contemporary music with a classic hymn or two. The message will be delivered in standard sermon style (the preacher communicating to the audience). We will occasionally say the Lord’s Prayer or the Apostle’s Creed together and hear testimonies from time to time. An offering will be collected by the passing of baskets each week.

  • Nursery (Childcare – birth through preschool)
  • Aldersgate Kid’s Sunday School (K – 5th Grade)
  • Occasional Adult Focus Groups (short term groups which focus on topics such as marriage, children, finances…)

10:15 Hour
The 10:15 service will be what our current services look like – modern and contemporary music with a relevant message that is inspiring and challenging. Different elements are added from time to time (video, skits, stories, etc.…) to reinforce the take home message.

  • Nursery (Childcare – birth through 2 years old)
  • Aldersgate Jr. Worship in the Aldersgate Jr. Room (3 – 5 years old)
  • Aldersgate Kids Worship in the Riot Room (K- 5th Grade)
  • LiGHT Student Ministry Hangout with donuts in the Aldersgate Coffee House
  • Occasional Adult Focus Groups (short term groups which focus on topics such marriage, children, finances…)

11:30 Hour
The 11:30 service will incorporate modern music with a little more volume and a few more lights. The message will be delivered in a participatory and experiential format with time for reflection and response. Elements that reinforce the participation and response such as videos and stories will be a regular occurrence.

  • Nursery (Childcare – birth through 2 years old)
  • Aldersgate Jr. Worship in the Aldersgate Jr. Room (3-5 years old)
  • Aldersgate Kids Worship in the Riot Room (K – 5th Grade)
  • Occasional Adult Focus Groups (short term groups which focus on topics such as marriage, children, finances…)

We encourage you to try out all three of the worship experiences and settle into the one that fits you best. But don’t get too settled – find a different place to sit each Sunday and share in the hospitality that Aldersgate is known for!

Got Questions?
Join us THIS SUNDAY at 10:15am in the All Saints Episcopal School Auditorium. We will serve you a cup of coffee and answer any questions you may have about the different worship experiences, kid’s activities, student meetings, adult focus groups or anything else!
